By Steve Bittenbender CINCINNATI (Reuters) - A judge on Thursday set a bond of $1 million for a former University of Cincinnati campus police officer charged with the murder of an unarmed black man he had stopped for a missing license plate. Ray Tensing, 25, pleaded not guilty at the arraignment before Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas Judge Megan Shanahan in Cincinnati. Tensing was indicted on Wednesday on murder and voluntary manslaughter charges in the July 19 death of Samuel Dubose, 43, who was shot in the head during a traffic stop.

The non-profit health insurer emphasizes coordination among providers, led by a patient's primary care physician. The model is part of an industry trend to pay more to doctors and hospitals who show measurable improvement in patient care.
Three injured when American Airlines plane evacuated in Texas
Three people were injured when an American Airlines flight at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport was evacuated on Thursday before takeoff because of smoke in the cabin, the airline said. Hydraulic fluid leaked into the auxiliary power unit of Flight 1658 to Chicago, which led to 141 passengers and five crew members to leave the airplane by emergency slides and exits, according to the airline. Three people suffered minor injuries, the airline said.
