MONDAY 4/13
Fine Motor Mondays. Midland Downtown Library 10:30-12:30pm. Recommended for 0-9 years. Each library will set out a variety of fun blocks and building materials for creative, self-led playtime. A great opportunity to proactive sharing and cleaning up after yourself. INFO HERE.


TUESDAY 4/14
Spay/Neuter/Vaccination Clinic. Don’t Litter Clinic, 200 Young Street, Big Spring. 10am-2pm. Bring your four-legged friends and get vaccinations. Whiskers and Tails will offer dog vaccinations (Rabies, DAPP, and Bordetella), as well as cat vaccinations (Rabies and FVRCP). There will also be microchips and flea/tick medicine available. Steps in Spanish/ Pasos en Español. Midland Centennial Library. 11am. Take your first steps in Spanish with this progressive, beginner level class. Newcomers are always welcome. Includes guided lessons and friendly conversation practice. INFO HERE.

Car Seat and Booster Seat Inspection Event. Ector County Coliseum. 4-6pm. Certified child passenger safety technicians will be on site to provide hands-on assistance, education and guidance to help ensure children are traveling as safely as possible. Technicians will check car seat installations, teach caregivers how to properly secure their child, review harness positioning and answer safety questions. The child must be present and parents are asked to have the child’s current height and weight with them. A limited number of replacement car seats will be available at no cost to families in need. 95X XKO Fight Official Weigh-in at Twin Peaks Odessa. 2:30-4:30pm. FREE and open to the public. Xtreme Knockout (XKO) is returning to the Midland/Odessa area for an action-packed fight night, Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Midland County Horseshoe Arena. The event features regional and local talent, bringing professional and amateur MMA and Muay Thai to West Texas. Join 95X for the official weigh-in and first look at the athletes.

Sensory Friendly Screenings at Cinergy. Cinergy Midland and Odessa. 9:30am. One Saturday a month Cinergy will present a family friendly film in an auditorium dedicated to guests affected by autism and sensory sensitivities. These showings will feature brightened light levels, reduced sound volume, and room for guest interaction and movement. These events are free to attend and open to the public.
