MONDAY 4/29:
STEAM SPROUTS: Storybook Steam! 9:30-10:30am at the Petroleum Museum. STEAM Sprouts: Storybook STEAM will engage our littlest scientists in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) learning. Students will experience the wonders of STEAM as reading and science collide! Each week, students will explore a new storybook and complete science and art projects centered around each book. TUESDAY 4/30:
On Course for Our Cause! The Midland YMCA is proud to announce our 4th annual golf tournament, On Course for Our Cause. This event not only helps raise funds for the scholarship program, but also helps raise awareness for their cause that helps so many in the Midland Community. Tejano Thirsty Thursday at The Destination! A FREE public community event. 1705 W Industrial in Midland. Doors open at 6 PM. Family and pet friendly. Bar service and a food truck vendor are always available on site. MORE DETAILS HERE.

Knit and Stitch at The Ellen Noel Art Museum! 6-8pm, 4909 E University in Odessa. Help us create a post-modern sewing circle for knitters, quilters, stitchers, or anyone who would like to join! This is open to any hand-craft (crochet, knit, sew, etc). MORE INFORMATION HERE.


FRIDAY 5/3:
The 7th Annual Best of the West: An All American Tribute to Texas Veterans! Fri-Sun, at Bush Family Tennis Center, 5700 Briarwood Ave in Midland. Kicks off Friday with Eagles and Aces Golf Tournament. On Saturday,  a Hotdog Run 5K, Pickleball social, BBQ cook-off, vendors, food trucks, resources booths for Veterans, Face painting by Maribel, showcasing nonprofits, pickleball, padel, USTA tournament & more. MCH Diamond Dash Fun Run! Join MCH in celebration as they kick off their 75th Anniversary with the first ever MCH Diamond Dash Fun Run. Registration for the 2K Fun Run is only $10 and each runner receives a free t-shirt! The race begins at 6 p.m. There will also be several food trucks, beverages, and live music in the MCH parking lot (corner of 3rd and Alleghaney) feat. 10th Annual Hot Dog Run 5k and 1 Mile! 7:20 am-11:30 am at Midland College, 3600 N Garfield. Get your running shoes on! Midland Humane Coalition and our race sponsors invite you and your 4-legged best friends for a most rewarding run to help save cats & dogs.
